RSC うた☆プリ Shining All Star CD

The adorable rubber straps by Kotobukiya! I missed the pre-order date and they were sold out so fast it wasn’t even funny. Kotobukiya had a second selling (without the Ringo-chan, Ryuuya tokuten T_T) where you had to to receive a seiriken and could order up to 2 boxes. I picked my box up just the other day! I’m still deeply regretting WHY oh WHY I didn’t buy two boxes… Minus Shiny, all the other characters are relatively easily trade-able and I’d have 2 each of Tokiya and Ai-chan to start with! It might be hard getting more of the two who seem to be the two most popular characters but I could at least try! Currently, I can’t even unpack them out of their plastic wraps because I don’t have doubles… grrr

The tokuten this time were coasters. I like the coasters but I’d really rather have Ringo-chan and Ryuuya rubber strap >.<

It’s even more frustrating because when I checked out prices for Ai-chan separately around the stores in Akiba, Ai-chan only was running for about 3000 yen… OTL At that rate, I can’t even buy him separately… I’ll have to wait for the box to be sold again… I hope it’s soon >.<

I don’t want to become one of those girls with 50+ of the same rubber straps hanging off their bags but I really wouldn’t mind having like 10 of these Ai-chans!

In commemoration of the new UtaPri game, MUSIC 2 that is coming out this September, Marui 1 in Shinjuku is currently holding an UtaPri event! It started on July 12th and runs until August 4th.  They have some event-only items that made it really worth it for me to try and line up. Also the location is ideal as it only takes me 6 min on the subway to get there from my nearest station! Continue reading →

Otomate Party 2013

Ahh! Such a late post. I thought to post and then got lazier and lazier and never ended up doing it. As previously posted, I attended the Otomate Party 2013 for the Sunday noon show. The games they focused on were: Amnesia, Hakuouki, Diabolik Lovers, and Toki no Kizuna. 華アワセ 蛟編 (Hana Awase)

Intro Banner

Finally I can post about 華アワセ 蛟編 (Hana Awase: Mizuchi Hen)! This otome game was actually released in December 2012 but I was stubborn about picking it up from Animate (no Animate near my city) so I only managed to get a hold of it in January. I was so excited that I finished it in 4 days… with quite a few hours of sleep lost in the process.

Originally, I didn’t know much about the title itself — except for the fact that it was illustrated by Yura!! Once again, Yura did an amazing job. This game, as the title might hint, is only the first part of a series. The story of 蛟編 (Mizuchi-hen) focuses around one of the main characters, Mizuchi. The other characters’ plots are set to follow in subsequent games to be released some time in 2013. I will do a short introduction of the main cast and an outline of the story along with my opinions. *Spoilers Ahead*
