RSC うた☆プリ Shining All Star CD

The adorable rubber straps by Kotobukiya! I missed the pre-order date and they were sold out so fast it wasn’t even funny. Kotobukiya had a second selling (without the Ringo-chan, Ryuuya tokuten T_T) where you had to to receive a seiriken and could order up to 2 boxes. I picked my box up just the other day! I’m still deeply regretting WHY oh WHY I didn’t buy two boxes… Minus Shiny, all the other characters are relatively easily trade-able and I’d have 2 each of Tokiya and Ai-chan to start with! It might be hard getting more of the two who seem to be the two most popular characters but I could at least try! Currently, I can’t even unpack them out of their plastic wraps because I don’t have doubles… grrr

The tokuten this time were coasters. I like the coasters but I’d really rather have Ringo-chan and Ryuuya rubber strap >.<

It’s even more frustrating because when I checked out prices for Ai-chan separately around the stores in Akiba, Ai-chan only was running for about 3000 yen… OTL At that rate, I can’t even buy him separately… I’ll have to wait for the box to be sold again… I hope it’s soon >.<

I don’t want to become one of those girls with 50+ of the same rubber straps hanging off their bags but I really wouldn’t mind having like 10 of these Ai-chans!

うた☆プリin新宿マルイワン

In commemoration of the new UtaPri game, MUSIC 2 that is coming out this September, Marui 1 in Shinjuku is currently holding an UtaPri event! It started on July 12th and runs until August 4th.  They have some event-only items that made it really worth it for me to try and line up. Also the location is ideal as it only takes me 6 min on the subway to get there from my nearest station! Continue reading

Miyano Mamoru Budokan Live

Along with Anisama in August and the UtaPri Live event in December is an event I absolutely cannot miss! That is Miyano Mamoru’s Budokan Solo Live in October! It is still fairly rare for a seiyuu to have a solo live in Budokan so this is a big deal and plus it’s none other than my absolutely favorite seiyuu, Mamo-chan! Those in the fan club can reserve tickets in the advance round between July 18 ~ July 25. I’m so glad I’m in the fan club. Contrary to how much of a Mamo fan I am, this will actually be my first Mamo solo live I can attend. I tried to go before but I wasn’t living near Tokyo at the time and the timing was never right. Not to mentioned, I couldn’t get tickets for the Birthday Live that just passed… It’s oddly on a Friday (October 4th) so I’ll have to take a day off of work but there is absolutely no way I will miss this live!!

うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪マジLOVE LIVE 3rd STAGE

It has been confirmed that UtaPri will have its third live event in December! It is confirmed for December 1st at Yokohama Arena! I wasn’t able to go to the second or the first one and am super excited about this one. Getting tickets seem pretty hard though. A serial code for the premium advance lottery for the tickets is included in the first volume of the Blu-ray DVD of マジLOVE 2000%. Originally, I wasn’t going to buy the DVD since I’ve already watched it as it aired but for any increase in obtaining tickets, I went and bought the DVD without hesitation. てっへ

Lately, they have been pretty strict with certain events by checking that the person who bought the ticket is also the ticket owner. This is to dissuade people from selling and obtaining them from auctions. Supposing that this is another such event, I must take any extra chances at tickets!

What am I going to do with the first volume when I’m not going to collect the rest… only if Mamo was having a sign-kai, I’d get him to sign it(笑)

All of ST☆ISH members as well as QUARTET NIGHT members will be present~ The lottery application runs from June 26 ~ July 14. The results will be announced on July 23. Keeping my fingers crossed. >.< No matter how large Yokohama Arena is, they’re still only going to give out a selected number of seats out of how many crazy fan girls applied for the advance lottery. Only reason for doing this is that I may have a second chance at the lottery for tickets for regular sale at a later date even though the seats will be worse. I do wonder how they will handle people who want to sit together… the advance lottery is one ticket per serial code so no guarantees on seating together. It doesn’t matter to me as long as I get good seats (that is if I even get drawn) though.

*RANT* My blog language was set to English but it didn’t like the stars in my posts… theme’s default font’s fault? Probably… I changed the blog language to Japanese and now the stars are available but now the dates went wonky… AUGH!

Otomate Party 2013

Ahh! Such a late post. I thought to post and then got lazier and lazier and never ended up doing it. As previously posted, I attended the Otomate Party 2013 for the Sunday noon show. The games they focused on were: Amnesia, Hakuouki, Diabolik Lovers, and Toki no Kizuna. I have multiple experiences with Comiket now but as my first Otomate Party experience it was fairly unique I have to say. Never underestimate 5000 crazy fan girls… Continue reading

TOKYO!!

東京に引っ越しました!
It’s actually been already two months since I left the boonies I call Hikone and moved to Tokyo but I’ve also been lazy about doing my blogging… (ever since I got released from the Hospital in February ^^;) BUT! I figure since Tokyo has so many events and am in a position to attend them, I should start it up again~
よろしく~

I decided to list some events I’ll be attending soon below in the next few months! Continue reading

Hospitalization Day 3

Two nights passed and now the third day. They said they didn’t have enough staff to help me wash my hair on the long weekend (I’d be fine alone if I wasn’t attached to drips…) so it’s driving me crazy.

Two of the three elderly in the room left and now just one really old granny who can’t really move or speak.

Also wanted to go to the first floor to maybe buy a Jump mag or something but they said I wasn’t allowed (´Д` ) I wonder if I keep bugging them they’ll let me go…

Hospital food actually tastes pretty good. Too much fish stuff but other than that, decent menus. I got my milk in the morning changed for juice because I can’t drink the milk here. I also wonder how much each meal costs… Hopefully not too expensive.

Still living on painkillers but that can’t be too good either. I wonder if I’m actually getting better.

Hospitalization Day 1

So I had this fever that kept going up and down since last Wednesday and when it finally went to 38.5 a week later, I decided to head to the clinic. Influenza tested negative but the doctor also said I should check it out at another place. The constant headache I had up until that moment got worse so I decided to go to the general hospital instead.

Did the usual tests, again influenza negative and no visible infections… Except they wanted me to test for meningitis because my symptoms kind of matched. Testing meant local anesthesia on my lower back and then sticking up some more needles up my spine?!  No, thank you! I took their prescription drug and went home.

The fever went down with the painkiller but it did absolutely nothing for the headache and I was now also unable to take even liquids and was nauseous all the time. No choice, let’s run back to the hospital to do that scary test.

I had to do a CT scan of my head first to make sure it was good to go on with the actual test for meningitis. The test wasn’t as bad as I imagined but the worst part was the doctor came back with the results and said “it looks like you’ll have to be hospitalized for at least a week” Σ(゚д゚lll)

Now I’m in a four-person room with 3 other elderly and being bored out of my mind, yet hurting too much to walk in the hallway.
